The animation team consists of experienced volunteers of the Movement "MOTION", who have theoretical and practical expertise to work with children and youth. All animators working on a voluntary basis with very high commitment. The animation team is coordinated and facilitated by experienced members of the body. The group discusses and solves pedagogical issues through mutual reinforcement and feedback and coordinate the activities of all children groups and workshops.
The training of animators constantly reinforced by "MOTION" in short or long courses in Greece and abroad on modern pedagogical approaches.
The group plans activities that will make this year, building the theatrical play, construction, puppetry, dance, music, etc., distributing the roles, implements activities and evaluate the results. The workshops take place with experiential processes, where children have the opportunity to actively participate.
All activities are based on a curriculum, with intermediate targets:
- Primary prevention of addictions.
- Environmental protection (Sustainable Development).
- School Peace (tolerance and acceptance of diversity).
- Personal development (personal and social skills).
THE PROJECT TEAM animators
The work of the animators group of volunteers for the school year 2015-16 was the realization of creative workshops for children aged 4-7 years. The topics of the laboratories had to do with issues such as self-awareness - self-esteem, friendship - relations cooperation, diversity - racism, ways of communication, expression and management of emotions, choices capability, which positively contribute to the development of the personality and skills of children.
Through concrete actions, seeking in terms of prevention to enable children to sculpt attitudes and behavior, to form positive in their character, learn to speak, to work in groups, so that they can adopt knowledge, which is a asset to their development to "address" the challenges and choices.
It is important that the children of this tender age of 4 get such stimuli. However, the most important is that all of this is left to the AKP but through individual discussions, seminars and letters on any subject we incorporate and parents of children in the process of prevention of common messages and attitudes.
At the same time, through thematic workshops, to familiarize children from an early age with concepts such as volunteering, supply, team, expression, creativity, increases the likelihood that the child can develop into active citizens.
The sense of belonging to a family group outside where feel secure to express the opinion of the sound and the feeling of not judged, enhances the personality of the child and his faith in himself. The animation team with great care and imagination creates beautiful pictures in children learn by playing and creating.
